Katrina Howard

Executive & Career Coach | IFS Practitioner | Counsellor | Facilitator

Hi, I’m Kat — an experienced career and executive coach working with thoughtful professionals and leaders, to plan and navigate change with clarity, confidence and integrity.

My approach focuses on helping clients to lead themselves well — particularly during times of transition, pressure or growth.

Whether someone is stepping into a more senior role, preparing for an important presentation, navigating a career cross-roads or rethinking their direction, I support them to pause, reflect and move forward with intention.

I bring a calm, grounded and psychologically informed approach to coaching, helping clients understand their internal responses, clarify what matters, and make sound decisions in complex environments.

I work in partnership with clients, creating a collaboration that is practical and purposeful — where insight leads to action.

Drawing on executive coaching, career development and self-leadership frameworks, I coach clients to:

  • gain clarity of direction and priorities

  • prepare for important conversations, presentations, applications and interviews

  • strengthen confidence and self-trust

  • lead with alignment with personal values

My work is tailored and adaptable. I act as a trusted sounding board, offering clear guidance and informed challenge - with a focus on building insight, capability and readiness.

Experience and perspective

My career has spanned roles in London, Sydney and Canberra across recruitment, artist management, counselling, coaching and facilitation.

Since establishing my practice in 2011, I’ve supported professionals and leaders across government and a range of industries, including senior executives and military leaders transitioning to civilian roles.

I work with clients in Canberra and online.
