Coaching Services

I work with experienced professionals and leaders who want to navigate career and leadership decisions with clarity, confidence and sound judgement.

All coaching services draw on my Inside Out Leadership Model supporting clarity, confidence, leadership and change from the inside out.

Coaching is delivered through structured programs, with scope tailored to your priorities and context.

Executive Coaching

Executive coaching is suited to senior managers and executives who want a confidential thinking partner over a period of time. Clients typically meet monthly over 6–12 months, depending on goals and circumstances.

Coaching often focuses on:

  • adjusting to a new or expanded role

  • strengthening leadership presence and communication

  • managing complexity, pressure or competing expectations

  • planning and positioning for future career moves

  • sense-testing decisions and options at senior levels

Sessions are goal-focused and adaptable. We work with what’s live — exploring challenges as they arise, thinking strategically, and testing ways forward. Where useful, I share frameworks, resources and exercises, and we may practice new ways of communicating, leading or problem-solving.

Leadership Coaching

Leadership coaching supports professionals and leaders who want to develop how they lead — not just what they do.

This work focuses on strengthening judgement, confidence, communication and influence, particularly in complex organisational environments. Clients often engage in leadership coaching when they are:

  • stepping into people leadership or broader responsibility

  • leading through change or uncertainty

  • navigating challenging stakeholder dynamics

  • wanting to communicate with greater authority and impact

The focus is on building leadership capability that is practical, sustainable and aligned with both personal values and organisational context.

SES & Executive Interview Coaching

This is targeted, high-level preparation for promotion or senior roles.

SES and executive interview coaching supports clients to be strategically positioned, well prepared and able to perform at their best under pressure. Programs are typically delivered over four to six sessions, allowing sufficient time for preparation, practice and refinement.

Programs may include:

  • assessing interview readiness, strengths and interference

  • aligning experience and pitch with role expectations and criteria

  • refining authentic, compelling stories and narratives

  • practicing responses that demonstrate capability without clichés

  • interview rehearsal and feedback

  • mindfulness strategies to manage nerves, allow thinking time and maintain composure

The aim is not to “sell yourself”, but to represent yourself clearly, credibly and confidently leaving the panel in no doubt about your readiness.

Career Direction & Advancement

Career Direction Coaching supports people who want to step back, reflect and make considered decisions about what’s next.

Across programs of 4–6 sessions, clients are guided to explore:

  • past patterns, career choices and turning points

  • strengths, values and key drivers

  • what is no longer working — and why

  • realistic options and alternative pathways aligned with skills and interests

This process often helps to lift the fog, clarify priorities and reset direction.

For clients who already know their next step, Career Advancement and Transition Coaching supports momentum and purposeful action.

This work may focus on:

  • positioning confidently for a promotion or new role

  • refining resumes and LinkedIn profiles for clarity and impact

  • strengthening applications and selection criteria responses

  • preparing for senior conversations, networking, interviews or panels

  • developing job search strategies beyond advertised roles

The emphasis is on confidence, sound judgement and forward movement.

Self-Leadership Coaching

For some clients, leadership coaching extends into more explicit self-leadership work.

Drawing on my background in counselling and psychotherapy, this coaching is IFS-informed but firmly coach focused. It supports clients to understand and work more effectively with internal patterns that may can affect confidence, decision-making and leadership under pressure — such as self-doubt, imposter feelings, harsh inner criticism, perfectionism, or over-responsibility.

The focus is on building awareness, strengthening regulation and expanding choice, so insights translate directly into real-world leadership situations.

Clients may engage in self-leadership coaching as a core focus, or an integrated part of executive or leadership coaching

  • senior presentations. pitches or panels

  • executive briefings or stakeholder forums

  • conferences, keynotes or public events

  • important moments when presence and polish matter

I coached TEDxCanberra speakers for over five years, gaining deep insight into compelling storytelling and audience connection. I’ve also completed advanced training in creative facilitation and business communication.

My approach works from the inside out, supporting confident self-leadership under pressure. Sessions may also include refining message structure and narrative flow, developing grounded presence and strengthening voice, body language and delivery.

The aim is authentic, credible communication that feels aligned with who you are — not rehearsed or performative.

How to work with me

Coaching begins with a conversation.

You’re welcome to get in touch by email or phone, or you to book a short introductory call. This allows us to clarify your priorities, context and goals, and to explore whether working together would be a good fit.

From there, I’ll recommend a program scope tailored to your needs — including focus, timing and structure. All details are confirmed in writing before we begin. Coaching is offered face to face in Canberra or online.
